At Dialtune Drums, we believe in building quality drums. Which is why every single snare is hand inspected before we tune and box up our drums. As a result of this, we've had to pull drums off the line when we found they did not meet our play or visual aesthetic quality bar. We lovingly call these snares, Factory Seconds. But just because they don't meet our quality bar, doesn't mean these snares can't find a home. Fundamentally, each Factory Second snare works as intended. What differentiates a Factory Second from every other snare in our lineup is that these snares may feature minor aesthetic blemishes or have tuning dials that don't turn as smoothly as they should. After a lengthy discussion as a team, we have gone through our Factory Seconds and pulled the best of the batch, offering drummers a unique opportunity to snag high-quality snares at a fantastic discount.

These drums are fully functional and deliver the exceptional sound you expect from Dialtune. However, as we mentioned above, each snare may feature minor aesthetic blemishes - like pitting in the chrome, scratches or scuffs on the finish; or they have one or both tuning dials that feel more crunchy to turn and are not as smooth as they should be.

These small imperfections are why we've classified them as Factory Seconds, but they do not affect the drum's overall performance or longevity.
